Kristen is a wife, sister, and daughter who experienced the healing power of Jesus' love and mercy.

Growing up with an artist mother and a father who could build anything, her family was always creating. After, attending Coastal Carolina University as an Art Studio Major, God called her and her sisters to Nashville, TN to pursue music. While in the music industry, Kristen never lost her desire to paint.

After experiencing a few traumatic events in her early twenties, Kristen would frequently have panic attacks, especially on stage. The anxiety lead to an eating disorder and a diagnosis of PTSD.

One day, Jesus broke through all the pain, shame, and guilt. He gave Kristen hope of healing with Him. The Holy Spirit convicted her that Jesus can transform any dysfunction into something beautiful! She felt hope that she would no longer panic on stage! At that moment, Kristen chose to surrender all her anxiety and dysfunction to Jesus and allow Him to come into her heart, clean it out, and restore her.

And Jesus did! After two years of learning how to depend on the grace of God and growing deeper in her Catholic faith, Kristen was healed from PTSD. She no longer suffered from an eating disorder or panic attacks! She experienced the freedom of joy and peace on stage and wants to give others the hope of healing with Jesus.

After getting married to the love of her life, God led Kristen back to art and inspired her to start painting again. Her dream for Painting Mercy is to create a space where she can share the healing power of Jesus' mercy with the world.
